Adele has paid tribute to Bruce Springsteen for lending her his coat while she was watching his concert in Portugal. Springsteen played a Rock In Rio festival show in Lisbon a couple weeks ago (May 20), which Adele attended. But Adele admitted she was “underdressed” for your outdoor concert. Talking on the crowd at her very own show in Lisbon, When We Were Young singer said: “I was wearing a silly skirt, which has been silly. It gets quite windy in Lisbon. I had somewhat thin jumper on, and Bruce arrived and said ‘You’re usually cold.’” Adele explained she initially attempted to wave Springsteen’s offer away, saying: “I would be a bit drunk. I’d had four associated with wine, so I said I’d be fine.” However, Springsteen insisted that Adele cover herself. Adele said: “He provided his coat, so I was watching his show, wearing his coat. I was too embarrassed to place my arms from the coat, as I’m obviously too small. So I just wore it on my own shoulders.”
Adele is halfway via a European tour, which ends on June 15 before she makes her debut headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on June 25. The singer unveiled film for her new single ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’ on Monday. Comments are closed.
