Simon Cowell is reportedly "desperate" to adopt charge of the Spice Girls comeback album.
The girl band will celebrate twenty years since the relieve their debut single Wannabe later in 2010, and rumours are actually rife how the group intend a reunion for that occasion.
Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, stepped in as being a judge on U.K. talent show The X Factor the other day (ends19Jun16) to pay for for Nicole Scherzinger, and is also said to happen to be bombarded by Cowell, who said not signing the group could be the "biggest mistake" of his life.
The music mogul is reportedly determined to land the girls' reported comeback album, and in line with editors at The Sun, even developed a "formal offer" to Mel B. Check Lukas Graham 7 Years sheet music page.
"Simon is eager to make a new Spice Girls album. He doesn’t need to miss out following your first time around," a resource told Britain's The Sun newspaper.
"He spent the auditions yesterday quizzing Mel around the band and said he'd do 'something mega' when they signed with him. He kept asking when they were going to be producing songs and said in that case, he would like to do it together."
According towards the publication, Simon told Mel which the girls must talk to him first before finding any other record labels. But Mel reportedly kept her cards near to her chest.
"He even went where warning Mel that they’d better not consult any other labels before finding him," the foundation added. "Mel deliberately kept coy and told him they 'hadn’t finalised everything', but he wouldn’t let it rest alone."
Mel previously revealed which the Spice Girls once staged an impromptu audition for Simon after they were looking to get signed. As they hadn't scheduled a conference they simply resorted to ambushing him that has a spontaneous performance in the parking lot.
Mel told U.S. chat show host Jimmy Fallon recently: "He was coming from work, therefore we kind of hijacked the vehicle park that she was hoping to get his car outside of and just sung for him. And we were like, 'Look, we're destined to be famous 1 day. Can you sign us?' and hubby went, 'No, it isn't really gonna work.'"
