Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Charli XCX are among the musicians backing the relaunched Really like Music Hate Racism strategy.
Coldplay, Lianne La Havas, Royal Blood and Kwabs are also supporting the strategy, which is a continuation of the popular Rock Against Racism strategy from the ’70s.
Love Songs Hate Racism’s Zak Cochrane said of the relaunched strategy: “There is a proud historical past of musicians standing up in order to racism from the likes associated with Steel Pulse and The Conflict performing at Rock Towards Racism gigs in the seventies to bands such as The Libertines and Roll Deep actively playing at Love Music Detest Racism events in the earlier 2000s. ” Check Ed Sheeran Perfect piano notes page.
He carried on: “LMHR and RAR weren’t just about big bands and massive concerts though. They were regarding musicians and fans centralizing in a grass roots motion. We are delighted that these musicians are working with us to bring this particular campaign to life. More about Perfect sheet music here.
“I wish it will inspire millions of people yet again to put on their own gigs as well as spread the message everywhere that racism only looks for to divide communities, while music brings us together. It really is in all our interest to like music and hate racism. ”
Love Music Detest Racism is encouraging individuals to attend the March Towards Racism in London this Weekend (March 18). Further information are available on the website.
