Nick Jonas is disappointed his songs Close and Bacon will never be competing for MTV Video Music Awards prizes next week. The 23-year-old singer didn't land 1 nomination if your categories were announced on Tuesday, and that he turned to social networking to share his feelings with fans while you're on the road with another snubbed artist, Demi Lovato. "Disappointed using the fact Close got no passion for the #VMAs2016," Nick tweeted. Jonas' Close promo grabbed headlines across the world when it was already released in March due to its racy content - Nick with his fantastic duet partner Tove Lo set tongues wagging after locking lips from the steamy music video. However, despite his disappointment, Jonas won't let the VMAs nomination snub get him down, opting to instead to target the positive things in daily life. He added: "Actually after great deal of thought more there are plenty of amazing things happening around my life and career. 9 away from 10 boxes are checked... Won't allow this to one thing reach me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful nowadays. Gonna focus on caring less around the small stuff... Everything is awesome."
Nick and Demi weren't the only real acts surprisingly left from the nominations list - Taylor Swift didn't acquire any mentions. Beyonce leads all artists with 11 nods for Lemonade, a profession high, while Adele follows with eight for my child Hello and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) visuals. The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will need place in New York City at Madison Square Garden on 28 August. Comments are closed.
